Falcon GI Wire


Galvanized wire is made from high-quality carbon steel wire and undergoes a galvanizing process using electrolytic equipment. This process results in a zinc coating that provides excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance. The surface of electro-galvanized wire is smooth, bright, and evenly coated. It typically has a zinc coating ranging from 8 to 50 g/m2. Galvanized wire is commonly used in various applications such as making nails, wire ropes, wire mesh, fencing, binding of flowers, and wire mesh weaving.

Specification:

  • Material: Carbon steel wire.

  • Processing: steel rod coil – wire drawing – wire annealing – rust removing – acid washing – boiling – drying – zinc feeding – wire coiling.

  • Wire diameter: 6–25 gauge (0.51–5 mm).

  • Tensile strength: 350–550 N/mm2.

  • Elongation: 8% – 15%.
